The movers will be here a week from today! I have such a massive to-do list to complete between now and then. And then after the movers leave it will be time to clean, clean, clean this house for inspection. I had high hopes of just hiring a cleaning crew to come through, but it turns out we would have had to book them months ago. Too bad the Coast Guard didn't give us months of notice! This move has been crazy with the timeline changing several times, but the big day is almost here.
The kids are all doing well. I think they are just very excited about Christmas coming so soon, and that is distracting them from some of the less pleasant parts of moving. They will also get to spend Christmas with their extended family this year, for the first time ever.
I think we are all mentally ready for the move now, which just leaves a whole ton of physical work to be done. I am slowly start to peck away at my list. I LOVE to make lists. I have tons of lists, for all parts of our family life. I'm not so good at completing the lists. I tend to lose the lists. I also give the lists to Matt, and he in turn ignores them completely. All I can say is thank goodness this a government move! I don't care how much money we'd make, I'd never survive another DITY. At least not with my sanity intact.
